Maya has completed work on the second phase of Dale House on London Road in Hazel Grove delivering a further 14 high specification one- and two-bedroom rental apartments in the popular commuter town.

Hazel Grove is a thriving suburb located just a few miles south of Stockport. It’s a hot spot for young professionals and families looking for fast and reliable access by road and rail to Stockport, Manchester Airport, the Peak District and neighbouring towns and villages.

Maya purchased Dale House in 2016 as an investment asset. The building is a dominant feature on London Road (A6), the main road through the town and comprised 3,000 sq ft of retail space on the ground floor and nine one- and two-bedroom rental apartments. The property also included a 24-space car park.

Under Maya’s ownership, a comprehensive refurbishment programme brought all elements of the building up to the company’s high standards and subsequently saw rental incomes increase by over 10%.

Maya was granted planning permission to add a further 14 apartments across two new storeys creating a striking new destination for contemporary living.
